Chiefs add veteran CB Robinson

The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Wednesday that the club has signed cornerback Dunta Robinson.

Robinson (5-10, 183) has played in 131 games (126 starts) in nine NFL seasons with the Houston Texans (2004-09) and Atlanta Falcons (2010-12). His career numbers include 580 tackles (490 solo), 5.5 sacks (minus-36.5 yards), 17 interceptions for 194 yards with one touchdown and 87 pass breakups. Robinson's best statistical season came in 2004 as a rookie, when he tallied 87 tackles (73 solo), 3.0 sacks (minus-26.0 yards), six interceptions for 146 yards and 19 pass breakups.
