Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical:

Chiefs acquire two players off waivers

The SportsXchange

The Kansas City Chiefs added two players and subtracted one in Tuesday transactions.

Arriving are cornerback Buddy Jackson and offensive tackle Matt Reynolds, both via waiver claims. Departing is defensive back De'Quan Menzie, who was released.

Jackson, a Pitt alumnus, participated in the Indianapolis Colts' training camp last year before spending time on the Washington Redskins' practice squad.

Reynolds, formerly of BYU, spent all of last season on the Philadelphia Eagles' practice squad after he was in camp with the Carolina Panthers.

Menzie was Kansas City's fifth-round draft pick in 2012 out of Alabama. He missed all of last season due to a hip injury that landed him on injured reserve.
