The 2012 MLB regular season is well underway with nearly half the season already in the books. It is still a long road to October, but paths are already starting to take shape and many surprises have already occurred along the way. The early portions of the season bring promise but at this point anything can still happen.
The highlight of the day will be when the Chicago White Sox visit the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium located in New York, N.Y.
Jake Peavy (6-4, 2.84 ERA) will take the mound for the White Sox facing off against the Yankees' Hiroki Kuroda (7-7, 3.40 ERA) in a battle between two talented American League division leaders.
With a number of great games to be played on the day, this will be one of the better ones.
