The 2012 MLB regular season is already half over with the All-Star festivities in Kansas City complete. It is still a long road to October, but paths are already starting to take shape and many surprises will continue to occur along the way. The second half of the season is where all teams begin to dig deep for that final postseason push.
The highlight of the day will be when the Chicago White Sox visit the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park located in Boston, Mass.
Jose Quintana (4-1, 2.60 ERA) will take the mound for Chicago facing off against Boston's Clay Buchholz (8-3, 5.54 ERA) in a battle we may likely see in the American League Playoffs this October.
With a number of great games to be played on the day, this will be one of the better ones.
