CHICAGO (AP) -- Jeremy Robinson scored 18 points and Quinton Pippen scored 17 to lead Chicago State to an 87-61 win over Trinity Christian Thursday night.
Jamere Dismukes added 13 points and six assists for the Cougars (2-6) who snapped a four-game losing streak. Chicago State shot 59 percent from the floor and made 64 percent (9 of 14) from 3-point range.
BJ Wortham led Trinity Christian with 25 points. The Trolls, who are members of the NAIA, played this game as an exhibition.
Chicago State never trailed in the game. Trinity Christian came with 25-22 with 4 1/2 minutes left in the first half, but the Cougars scored the final 10 points of the half for a 13-point margin at the break.
