The San Diego Chargers promoted offensive tackle Kenny Wiggins from the practice squad, the team announced Saturday.
Wiggins was signed to the practice squad Sept. 2. The Chargers activated him for last Sunday's game at the Miami Dolphins but he did not play. He was waived Monday and re-signed Wednesday.
Wiggins originally signed with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Fresno State in 2011. He has also spent time on the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad.
To make room for Wiggins on the roster, the Chargers waived offensive tackle Mike Remmers.
