The Chargers have signed OLB Darryl Gamble to their active roster, a strong indication that OLB Travis LaBoy will not be healthy to play on Saturday against the Lions.
Gamble, an undrafted rookie out of Georgia, has spent time on both the San Diego active roster and practice squad this season. He has appeared in three games, but has recorded no tackles.
LaBoy suffered a knee injury in the team's Week 14 matchup against the Ravens. Primarily a pass rusher, the veteran has only one sack on the season.
