Champions League Matchday 3 - Ronaldo, Real Madrid roll past Liverpool

Cristiano Ronaldo drew one goal closer to becoming the Champions League's all-time leading scorer as Real Madrid left Anfield with a convincing 3-0 win over Liverpool on Wednesday.

Ronaldo struck in the 23rd minute for his 70th career goal in the Champions League, just one behind Raul's record of 71. Karim Benzema added goals in the 30th and 41st minutes to give Real Madrid a comfortable 3-0 halftime lead.

Lukas Podolski's stoppage-time winner saved Arsenal in a 2-1 victory over Anderlecht. Juventus wasn't so fortunate in its 1-0 loss at Olympiakos.
