Champions League Daily Fantasy Gameweek 7 Dreamteam

There was a thrilling conclusion to Gameweek 7 of the Champions League which saw almost 20 goals scored across the gameweek, with a remarkable 14 of them coming on Tuesday night alone.

Unsurprisingly there were several outstanding Fantasy performances with Manchester City and Monaco attackers dominating, thanks to the two teams sharing 8 goals between them. However, despite that 3 defenders were able to crack the top 11 scorers.

This week sees players from 5 different teams make this week’s Dreamteam, with Manchester City and Sevilla featuring heavily.

All three of our Dreamteam forwards – Sergio Aguero (30.20), Radamel Falcao (22.70) and Raheem Sterling (19.40) – all came from Manchester City’s win over Monaco. Indeed the top 5 forwards all came from Tuesday night’s matches with Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann and Kevin Gameiro missing out despite solid scores of 17.90 and 16.60 respectively.

Our four-man midfield is dominated by Spaniards, with only Manchester City’s Leroy Sane (15.80) flying the flag for English-based teams. Sane is is joined by Sevilla duo Pablo Sarabia (15.80) and Joaquin Correa (13.10) – despite his missed penalty – as well as Atletico star Saul Niguez (15.80).

Despite the goal glut, several defenders scored highly with John Stones, Sevilla’s Sergio Escudero and Juventus’s Alex Sandro all breaking the 15-point barrier. However, the news wasn’t so good for goalkeepers, Gigi Buffon was the only one to get close to double figures scoring 10 points.
