The Boston Celtics will have their hands full trying to make shots against the top shooting defense in the league when they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves (47.6% Opp. FG) at TD Garden. The Celtics currently hold an 11-14 record and have not found their stride this season. As for the Timberwolves, they look to be more than just average, entering with a record of 12-12. This game is scheduled to start at 7:30 pm EST and it will be covered by NBA TV, FSN-N and CSN-NE.
After beating the Knicks, 90-86, the Celtics look for another solid effort. With 19 points on six for nine shooting, Jared Sullinger was the team's leading scorer. The Timberwolves, meanwhile, are coming off a win against the Grizzlies, 101-93. Kevin Love led the game in scoring by posting 30 points on 11-for-21 shooting from the field. This will be the second matchup of the season between these two teams, with the Timberwolves taking the first game, 106-88. Nikola Pekovic put up a double-double in the victory with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
It will be a tale of two tempos, as the up-and-down Timberwolves (ranked second in the league in possessions per game) take on the methodical Celtics (28th).
