Redskins' Jackson quietly putting together strong season

Former Saints CB Leigh Torrence is returning to the Redskins, where he played from 2006-08.

Torrence began his career in 2005 with Atlanta before joining the Redskins. He went to New Orleans during the '08 season. In 2011, Torrence played in 13 games and made 20 tackles, one sack and returned an interception 42 yards for a touchdown.

In 2007 with Washington, he played in 16 games, with his only career start, and made 43 tackles. Torrence is mainly a special-teams contributor.
