Former ‘Ultimate Fighter' runner-up C.B. Dollaway is itching to get back into action, but will have to wait a few more months to do it.

During his last fight against Jared Hamman at UFC on Versus 5, Dollaway suffered an injury that he's about to go into surgery for next week.

“I tore my labrum in my hip in my last fight so I haven't been back in training. Getting surgery on Nov. 2,” Dollaway told MMAWeekly.com.

The surgery will be performed in Colorado and according to his manager, David Martin of the Martin Advisory Group, Dollaway should be able to go back into training about 3 months after the procedure.

The timeline would put Dollaway back alongside his teammates at Power MMA & Fitness most likely around February 2012 and back in action in the UFC sometime hopefully in the first quarter of next year.

The former Arizona State All-American is much like any athlete with an injury, he hates to be sidelined out of the training room so he wants to push the pace as much as possible to get back in the cage again.

“I just want to get recovered and get back in there,” said Dollaway.

MMAWeekly.com will have more information on Dollaway's return when it becomes available.
