X-rays on the sprained right toe of Cleveland Cavaliers guard Daniel Gibson proved negative following Saturday's game in Toronto against the Raptors, the team announced.
Gibson suffered the injury in the second quarter of Saturday's game. The team said he will be re-examined and receive treatment when the Cavs return home to Cleveland at Cleveland Clinic Courts. His status will be updated when new information on his status is available, the team said.
Gibson will join teammate Luke Walton at the Cleveland Clinic Courts. Walton, a forward, missed Saturday's game with a sore left foot and ankle that will receive further treatment and examination when the team returns to Cleveland. There is no update on when he may become available again.
