Carson Palmer: "Highly Unlikely" To Restructure Contract
Update: It may be "highly unlikely" that Palmer (ribs) is willing to restructure a contract that would pay him $13 million in 2013, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Recommendation: That's a lot of money for a guy who may not be the long-term solution the Raiders are looking for, so if Palmer is truly unwilling to restructure there's a chance the team could do to him what the Bills recently did in a similar situation with Ryan Fitzpatrick and cut him and move on. If that were to happen, Terrelle Pryor would be left as the No. 1 quarterback, but Oakland might also be eying Geno Smith with the third overall pick in the upcoming draft.
