Carr, Cremins named to Committee on Infractions

Former Michigan football coach Lloyd Carr and former Georgia Tech basketball coach Bobby Cremins were among the eight people added to the NCAA Committee on Infractions.

The committee is charged with hearing schools' responses to NCAA allegations of improprieties in their programs.

The Committee on Infractions consists of 18 members. The other six people appointed this year include outgoing Georgia president Michael Adams, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission director of enforcement Norman Bay, former Bowling Green and Kent State president Carol Cartwright, Iowa State senior vice president of student affairs Thomas Hill, former Minnesota athletic director Joel Maturi and Princeton University counsel Sanker Suryanarayan.
