Carlos Boozer scored 21 points and registered 10 rebounds, his ninth double-double of the season, to lead the Chicago Bulls to a close victory over the Memphis Grizzlies, 95-91. Chicago (12-17) picked up the win after falling to the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.
Boozer went 9-16 from the field. D.J. Augustin chipped in 10 points and 9 assists for Chicago as well. Mike Conley had another quality performance for Memphis in the loss, putting up 26 points on 9-19 shooting from the field and 8-10 from the free throw line. He also registered 9 assists, 6 steals and 6 rebounds. James Johnson added 13 points and 10 rebounds and Zach Randolph finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
In addition to a goose egg from 3-point range, the Grizzlies tallied an eFG% of just 44.9%. They are 2-5 on the season when registering marks below 30% and 45%, respectively, in those statistics. The Bulls, conversely, are 5-2 when holding the opposition to such dismal shooting numbers.
Memphis (13-17) could not get back-to-back victories after defeating Denver on Saturday.
