Carlos Boozer posts double-double, Bulls edge Grizzlies

Carlos Boozer scored 21 points and registered 10 rebounds, his ninth double-double of the season, to lead the Chicago Bulls to a close victory over the Memphis Grizzlies, 95-91. Chicago (12-17) picked up the win after falling to the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.

In addition to a goose egg from 3-point range, the Grizzlies tallied an eFG% of just 44.9%. They are 2-5 on the season when registering marks below 30% and 45%, respectively, in those statistics. The Bulls, conversely, are 5-2 when holding the opposition to such dismal shooting numbers.

Memphis (13-17) could not get back-to-back victories after defeating Denver on Saturday.

Coming up next, the Bulls battle the Toronto Raptors, who are 13-15 on the year. The Grizzlies meet the Phoenix Suns, currently 18-11 this season. The Bulls have a 1-1 record against Toronto this season. The Grizzlies are 1-0 versus Phoenix this season.
