Yahoo Sports Fantasy Baseball:

Cardinals will interview Reid

The SportsXchange

Andy Reid might not be wanted in Philadelphia anymore, but others around the NFL remain interested in his services.

Hours after Reid was fired from his job as the Eagles' head coach, Cardinals president Michael Bidwill announced that Reid would be one of the first three candidates interviewed for Arizona's coaching vacancy. The Cardinals fired Ken Whisenhunt on Monday.

Bidwill said he would also talk with Cardinals defensive coordinator Ray Horton and Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy.

The Cardinals opened the season 4-0, then lost 11 of their final 12 games. The season was marked by a complete failure from the quarterback position, where four players got starts.

Whisenhunt leaves as the franchise's all-time winningest coach, as the team posted a 45-51 record in his six-year stint. He also led the Cardinals to a franchise-record four playoff wins, plus a Super Bowl appearance.

Reid was fired following a 4-12 season that dropped his 14-year record in Philadelphia to 130-91-1. Under his guidance, the Eagles reached the NFC Championship game five times and the Super Bowl once.
