Cardinals, Chargers interested in Broncos' OC McCoy

The SportsXchange

At least two teams are interesting in speaking with Denver offensive coordinator McCoy about their head-coaching jobs.

The Arizona Cardinals are expected to pursue McCoy now that the Broncos' season is over, two sources told the NFL Network. Meanwhile, McCoy is arranging an interview with the San Diego Chargers, USA Today reported.

Denver's season ended Saturday after a 38-35 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, freeing McCoy to speak with other teams.

McCoy also has interviewed with the Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears and Arizona Cardinals.

The Chargers, searching to replaced fired Norv Turner, were expected to interview Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden on Sunday. They brought in former Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt on Saturday for an interview.

Turner is reported to be head to the Cleveland Browns as their new offensive coordinator.
