Cardinals Defeat Giants, 25-14
The Cardinals got by the Giants, 25-14, in East Rutherford.
Drew Stanton didn't throw for a score and came away 14 of 29 for only 167 yards and no interceptions. Eli Manning went 26 of 39 with 277 yards passing, two touchdowns and two picks for the Giants.
Andre Ellington was a key factor for the Cardinals, running all over the Giants for 91 yards on 15 carries in addition to one reception for 10 yards. John Carlson caught two balls for 43 yards.
The Arizona defense was the major reason for the victory, allowing 81 yards rushing and 277 passing. They got to Manning for two sacks.
Finally, Chandler Catanzaro was perfect, making all four of his field goal attempts.
Giants tight end Larry Donnell had a productive game with 81 receiving yards. Running back Rashad Jennings also had a good game with 64 rushing yards and 45 receiving.
The Cardinals host the 49ers (1-0) next week while the Giants take on the Texans (1-0), also at home.
