Toronto is the four-time defending Voyageurs Cup champion.
Montreal is the only other team to have won the Canadian Championship, doing so as a second-division outfit in 2008. It was the last of seven straight Voyageurs Cups for the Impact, although only the '08 edition counted as the official national championship.
This is the second of at least five scheduled meetings in 2013 between the two sides, with Montreal claiming a 2-1 MLS victory last month.
Since the Impact became an MLS team, the two sides are 2-2-2 against one another in all competitions.
TFC is undefeated at home so far this year, winning once and drawing three times.
