Injury Report:

  • Heading into its third Canadian Championship, Edmonton is still looking for its first victory in the competition. The Eddies have an overall record of 0-4-0 in the tournament, scoring once and conceding nine times.

  • Vancouver has a dubious record of its own in this competition, as the Whitecaps have never won the Canadian Championship in five tries. If the pre-Canadian Championship era Voyageurs Cups are included in the tally, the 'Caps have failed to lift the trophy despite competing for it for the past 11 seasons.

  • In the previous meeting between these two sides, Edmonton scored its only Canadian Championship goal in a 3-1 loss at BC Place.

  • Three games into the NASL campaign, the Eddies are 0-2-1, although they have yet to play a home game. The Whitecaps sport a 2-3-2 record in MLS play this year, although they're currently winless in five.
