When the snow starts to fall, many people will be looking for a mountain resort with good value and a range of trails from difficult to beginner. Camelback Pocono Mountain Ski Area in Pennsylvania is great fun for every skier or snowboarder at an affordable price.

For its location, Camelback is a fairly large mountain with 13 greens (easier), nine blues (more difficult), eight blacks (most difficult), and five terrain parks. With this wide variety of runs, any level of experience or skill would be sure to have a good time. Ticket prices start at $28-$40 for children between the ages of 6-18 and seniors ages 65+. Adult prices range from $32-$69 based on day of the week or holiday and online purchase.

The pride of the mountain is the newly created and renovated terrain parks, which in order to use customers must watch an instructional safety video and pay $10 for a pass that is good for the season. Also, the only double black trail on the mountain, Cliffhanger, is a challenging trail that all look to conquer. But Camelback is not only about the skiing and snowboarding; there are many other activities offered for visitors.

A common attraction of any mountain resort is snow tubing. Camelback offers tubing on 38 different lanes and boasts being the largest snow tubing park in the United States. On the mountain, there are seven different eateries: the Big Pocono Family Eatery, Eastside Bistro, Thirsty Camel, CBK Lodge, Glen Lodge, Tubing Park Snack Shack, and Cameltop Mountain Lodge. The Thirsty Camel and the Glen Lodge offer a band that plays to a schedule that is yet to be announced and attribute the nightlife for overnight guests.

Lodging is offered in various ways near the mountain. There is a service called Camelback Mountain Resort Home Rentals, where multiple sized condos can be rented for larger groups of visitors. Also, on the website seven different hotels all near the mountain are listed with availability. Many other options are available such as motels, five-star resorts, and various other accommodations.

This winter resort is located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania.

Address: One Camelback Road, Tannersville, Pennsylvania 18372.

As a resident of New Jersey who has found an interest in snowboarding for many years, Camelback is one of my favorite mountains and has been for around five years.
