    Bulls sign well-traveled Chicagoan Mohammed

    The Bulls signed center Nazr Mohammed to a one-year contract.

    Mohammed, a 14-year veteran, spent last season as a reserve with the Oklahoma City Thunder. He averaged 2.7 points and 2.7 rebounds.

    He has played 834 career games with eight different teams in the NBA.

    Mohammed was a first-round pick in 1998.
