Bulldogs' walk-on injures ACL while serving in military

Dusan Langura, a freshman walk-on for the Georgia Bulldogs' basketball team, is likely out for the season with a torn ACL suffered while serving his military duty in Switzerland, according to a USA Today report.

Langura was injured in a bomb explosion.

"It really is a unique story," Georgia coach Mark Fox told the paper. "He was injured in an explosion and one of the injuries was a torn ACL. We had committed to having him come. He can really shoot the ball. He was gonna be on our team. He had to serve his military commitment. This happened during it, so we're still going to honor our commitment to him."

Langura won't be medically cleared to practice until at least January or February, Fox said.
