Robert Woods had a big day receiving, leading the way to a victory for the Bills over the Jaguars, 27-20, in Jacksonville.
E.J. Manuel punished the Jaguars for three scores (2 pass, 1 rush) on 17 of 24 passing for 193 yards, one pick and one fumble. In comparison, Chad Henne went 21 of 36 with 237 yards passing, two touchdowns and two picks for the Jaguars.
Fred Jackson ran for 80 yards on 17 carries. Woods was a highlight, pulling in five balls for 82 yards with a touchdown.
The Buffalo defense was the major reason for the victory, allowing 159 yards rushing and 237 passing. They harassed Henne and the Jaguars offensive line with an imposing five sacks.
Jaguars running back Jordan Todman provided some spark with 109 yards rushing and 44 receiving. Tight end Marcedes Lewis also had a noteworthy performance with 54 receiving yards and one touchdown.
The Bills will play host to the Dolphins (8-6) next week while the Jaguars play against the Titans (5-8), also at home.
