Marquise Goodwin had a big day for the offense, leading the way to a lopsided victory for the Bills over the Jets, 37-14, at home.
E.J. Manuel accounted for two scores against the Jets on 20 of 28 passing for 245 yards and no interceptions. On the Jets side, Geno Smith did not fare as well on the day, going 8 of 23 with 103 yards passing, no touchdowns, three picks and one fumble.
Fred Jackson carried the ball 12 times for 34 yards. Goodwin was a highlight, pulling in six passes for 81 yards with a touchdown.
The Buffalo defensive unit led the way to a victory, allowing 134 yards rushing and 163 passing, picking up three interceptions while bringing back one interception for a touchdown. They harassed Smith and the Jets offensive line with an imposing four sacks.
Finally, Dan Carpenter was perfect, making all three of his field goal attempts.
Jets running back Chris Ivory had a big day with 98 yards rushing and one touchdown. Tight end Jeff Cumberland also had a noteworthy performance with 25 receiving yards and one touchdown.
The Bills host the Falcons (2-8) next week while the Jets head to Baltimore to face the Ravens (4-6).
