The Bills nipped the Dolphins, 23-21, at Sun Life Stadium.
Thaddeus Lewis finished the game 21 of 32 with 202 yards passing, no touchdowns and one pick. On the Dolphins side, Ryan Tannehill went 19 for 37 with 194 yards passing, three touchdowns, two picks and one fumble.
Fred Jackson rushed for 36 yards on 11 attempts with a touchdown in addition to four receptions for 49 yards. Stevie Johnson caught six passes for 61 yards.
The Buffalo defensive unit led the way to a victory, allowing 120 yards rushing and 173 passing, forcing two interceptions while taking back one interception for a touchdown. They got to Tannehill for two sacks.
Finally, Dan Carpenter was perfect, making all three of the field goals he attempted.
Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Gibson had a productive game with 40 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Mike Wallace also had a good game with 76 receiving yards and 12 rushing.
The Bills head to New Orleans next week to face the Saints (5-1) while the Dolphins go to Foxborough to play the Patriots (5-1).
