Bucs add Nate Kaeding to mix

National Football Post

Nate Kaeding has agreed to a one-year contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is expected to compete against Connor Barth for the job.

Kaeding, who has made 86.2 percent of field goals in his career, told the Des Moines Register that he has come to terms with the Bucs. Kaeding played two games last season for the Miami Dolphins and three games with the San Diego Chargers.

It will be an interesting battle. Barth made 28 of 33 field goals last season for the Bucs and hit six from 50-plus yards. He holds the franchise record with 25 consecutive field goals made.
