The Buccaneers activated second-year DE Da’Quan Bowers to the 53-man roster and said he should play in Thursday night’s game against the Vikings.
Bowers tore his Achilles six months ago and began the season on the physically-unable-to-perform list.
As a rookie last season, Bowers played in all 16 games with six starts and made 25 tackles, 1½ sacks and four passes defensed. The Bucs released CB LeQuan Lewis to make room for Bowers on the 53-man roster.
