Kellen Winslow Jr. has yet to leave but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have already replaced him on the roster.
The Bucs will sign veteran Dallas Clark, who had such a productive run with the Indianapolis Colts while teaming with Peyton Manning.
Tampa will add Clark, according to NFL.com, and the Bucs will look to trade Winslow. It’s entirely possible the club ends up having to release Winslow, who will be 29 this summer and has a long history of knee issues. Winslow is signed for the next three years and is set to earn $3.3 million this season if he isn’t cut and does not re-negotiate his deal.
Clark, who has battled injuries himself, had also drawn interest from the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs. He has missed 16 games over the last two seasons.
