Buccaneers trade Mike Williams to Bills for sixth-round pick

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have traded troubled wide receiver Mike Williams to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for a sixth-round draft pick, according to ESPN.

Williams was recently stabbed in the leg by his brother.

The Buccaneers have had concerns about Williams' off-field issues and expressed disappointment about him during the NFL scouting combine.

He went on injured reserve last season after six games after catching a career-low 22 passes for 216 yards.

Williams is from Buffalo and played at Syracuse.

He played for Bills coach Doug Marrone at Syracuse prior to leaving the team.

That caused Williams' draft stock to drop to the fourth round.
