Bryce Harper Debut, Washington Nationals at Los Angeles Dodgers Highlight MLB Schedule for April 28, 2012

The 2012 MLB regular season well underway. It is still a long road to October baseball but paths are already starting to take shape. The beginning of the year brings promise, and already memories have been created early in the season. At this point anything can still happen.

The highlight of the day will be when the Washington Nationals visit the Los Angeles Dodgers in Los Angeles, Calif.

Not only is the pitching matchup between Nationals' starter Stephen Strasburg (2-0, 1.08 ERA) and the Dodgers' Chad Billingsley (2-1, 3.04 ERA) a great dual in its own right, the highly anticipated Major League debut of prospect Bryce Harper is also slated to take place. It may be too soon in his development for the 19-year-old future star, regardless, he will be with the team.

With a plethora of games to be played on the day, this will be one of the better ones.
