Harper has reported to camp having added nearly 20 pounds of muscle to his frame, the Washington Post reports. "I take a lot of pride in my workouts," Harper said, sitting in the clubhouse at Space Coast Stadium this week. "I work as hard as I can to get ready for the season."
Recommendation: It's easy to forget that Harper is still a growing man, given his high level of performance last season. Some of that weight will come off over the course of the year due to his full-throttle playing style, but an improved fitness level can only help Harper meet or even exceed the expectations that surround him.
