Update: Petersen hit second Sunday in his second straight start in center field and went 0-for-3 with a walk.
Recommendation: His main competition for playing time while Emilio Bonifacio is on the DL will come from Chris Coghlan, but Petersen is a much better defensive outfielder so unless Coghlan goes on a tear at the plate, expect Petersen to see the bulk of the center field at-bats over the next couple of weeks.
