MONTREAL -- Tyler Seguin scored 14 seconds into the third period and the Boston Bruins took their first lead of the game 1:51 later on David Krejci's goal, taking a 2-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday night at the Bell Centre.

Tuukka Rask stopped 21 shots for Boston (7-1-1). The Bruins have yet to lose on the road through regulation (3-0-1).

P.K. Subban scored his first goal on a power-play midway through the first and Carey Price made 21 saves for Montreal (6-3).

The Canadiens, who swept a pair of weekend matinee games against Buffalo and Ottawa at the Bell Centre, are 5-2 at home.

Krejci assisted on Seguin's goal, which tied it at 1. Seguin got his second point with an assist on Krejci's goal at 2:05. The Czech center drove to the net to direct Milan Lucic's pass into the net for his third goal in five games.

Subban scored his first goal in three games 10:53 into the second period after Lucic was called for high-sticking.

It was the first power-play goal allowed by the Bruins on the road this season. Boston's penalty killers have allowed just three power-play goals overall while killing 36 of 39 opportunities by their opponents.

NOTES: Bruins center Ryan Spooner made his NHL debut in Wednesday's game. He was chosen 45th overall by Boston in the 2010 draft. ... Through their first three road games, the Bruins had not allowed a power-play goal while successfully killing 14 penalties. ... Boston's three days off since Saturday night's 1-0 win in Toronto is tied for its longest break of this shortened season. The Bruins also go three days without playing from Feb. 18-20, and Apr. 24-26. ... Claude Julien entered with 234 wins as the Bruins' head coach, third in team history behind Art Ross (361) and Milt Schmidt (245). Julien went 72-62 as Canadiens coach from 2003-06, with 10 ties and 15 points from overtime/shootout losses. ... All of Montreal defenseman Andrei Markov's eight points, four goals and four assists, through his first nine games came on the power play. ... The Canadiens had outscored their opponents 15-7 in 5-on-5 play through their first eight games.
