Browns re-sign OL Alford

The SportsXchange

The Cleveland Browns announced Saturday that they re-signed free agent offensive lineman Dominic Alford.

Alford was originally signed by Cleveland as an undrafted free agent in 2011 and was on the team's practice squad all season.

He spent the final four weeks of last season on the Carolina Panthers' practice squad.

Alford returned to the Browns in February and was waived July 24.

To make room for Alford, the Browns waived linebacker Adrian Moten.
