The Cleveland Browns on Saturday released former Buffalo Bills wide receiver David Nelson, according to ProFootballTalk.com.
Nelson missed the entire 2012 season after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament. A bone bruise in training camp this year had limited his performance.
Nelson caught 61 passes for 658 yards and five touchdowns in 2011. PFT also reported that Nelson's contract with the Bills included just $25,000 in guaranteed money.
