Cleveland Browns wide receiver Travis Benjamin has the potential to start right away for the club, says head coach Pat Shurmur.
"I would say so," Shurmur told the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "I saw a lot of good stuff from Travis this weekend, and I feel like he'll only continue to get better."
Benjamin, a fourth-round pick from Miami, is a speedy receiver, who could give the Browns big-play potential.
The Browns revealed draft weekend that they coveted Kendall Wright, who was selected two picks before theirs with the 20th pick by Tennessee.
Cleveland instead chose Oklahoma State QB Brandon Weeden, who could end up their starter this season, and circled back to the receiver position in round four with Benjamin for a group that desperate needs playmaking wideouts.
