The Tampa Bay Lightning
re-signed forward J.T. Brown
to a one-year, two-way contract on Monday.
Brown, 23, had 10 goals and 18 assists with 27 penalty minutes in 51 games last season with the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League.
Brown made his NHL debut with the Lightning on March 31, 2012, against the Winnipeg Jets
and recorded his first NHL point -- an assist -- April 7 at Winnipeg. He also played in six games for the U.S. at the 2012 World Championships in Finland and Sweden.
He originally signed with the Lightning as a free agent on March 28, 2012.
