Brown reach roster limit

The Cleveland Browns reached the 53-man roster limit by waiving 18 players, placing linebacker Scott Fujita on the suspended list and terminating the contracts of tight end Evan Moore and quarterback Seneca Wallace.

In addition, Cleveland dealt safety David Sims to the Philadelphia Eagles for a conditional 2013 draft pick.

Among the players waived by the Browns included offensive lineman Dominic Alford, defensive lineman Ronnie Cameron, receiver Josh Cooper, offensive lineman Stanley Daniels, running back James Dockery, offensive lineman, Garth Gerhart, defensive lineman William Green, tight end Dan Gronkowski, linebacker Benjamin Jacobs, defensive lineman Ernest Owusu, defensive lineman Brian Schaefering, offensive lineman Jarrod Shaw, offensive lineman Jeff Shugarts fullback Brad Smelley, linebacker Quinton Spears, running back Adonis Thomas, defensive lineman Kiante Tripp and receiver Rod Windsor
