Peyton Manning's debut at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium with the Denver Broncos drew a record crowd Saturday. The team's summer scrimmage attracted 41,304 fans, nearly doubling the Broncos' previous mark of 20,782 for a training-camp practice set in 2010. The Denver Post reported that fans begin showing up at 7:30 a.m., more than seven hours before the gates opened, to get a look at their new quarterback and the rest of the team. Stadium parking lots were filled to capacity and overflow lots were used. The team has set four single-game practice records this year. So far, 69,821 fans have showed up for training camp.
