Eric Decker had a big day for Denver Broncos, leading the way to a victory for the Broncos against the Chiefs, 35-28, at Arrowhead Stadium.
A superb performance for Peyton Manning was capped by five touchdowns on 22 of 35 passing for 403 yards and two picks. Alex Smith gave his best effort to keep the Chiefs competitive, going 26 of 42 with 293 yards passing, two touchdowns and one pick.
Montee Ball was a standout player for the Broncos, rushing for 117 yards on 13 attempts. Decker was a top receiver, catching eight balls for 174 yards with four touchdowns.
The Denver defense surrendered 159 yards rushing and 293 passing.
Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles gave a standout effort with 93 yards rushing, 27 receiving and one touchdown. Tight end Anthony Fasano also had a noteworthy performance with 28 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Next week, the Broncos are at home against the Titans (5-7) while the Chiefs travel to Landover to face the Redskins (3-8).
