Breaking News:

Broncos CB Harris out with concussion vs. Cowboys

AP - Sports

ALRINGTON, Texas (AP) -- Broncos cornerback Chris Harris sustained a concussion and didn't return for the second half of Denver's 51-48 victory against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

Denver also lost starting middle linebacker Wesley Woodyard because of what coach John Fox said after the game was a neck injury. When Woodyard was hurt late in the first quarter, it was initially announced as a shoulder injury.

Fox said defensive end Robert Ayers (shoulder) and running back Ronnie Hillman (ankle) were also hurt. The coach didn't get into the specifics or severity of any of the injuries.

Harris apparently got hurt while making a play in the final minute of the first half.

There was an injury timeout charged to the Broncos when Harris came up slow after tackling DeMarco Murray. After being evaluated during halftime, Harris was ruled out of the rest of the game.

Harris started in place of Champ Bailey, who hasn't played since injuring his left foot in the preseason.

Cowboys safety Barry Church left the game briefly after what was described as a shot to the face. He returned before halftime.
