Bradley unavailable for Roma's match against Italian champion Juventus

If AS Roma is to become the first team to deliver a Serie A league loss to Juventus and snap the Italian champion's 44-match unbeaten run, it will do so without USA midfielder Michael Bradley.

Bradley, who has been out of action for a month after suffering a thigh injury in Roma training, was not included on Roma manager Zdenek Zeman's 20-man roster for the road match that was released on the club's official website on Friday. Bradley was on the bench for Roma's mid-week clash with Sampdoria, but he did not make an appearance, and he will not get the chance to mark Juve maestro Andrea Pirlo Saturday in Turin, either.

Bradley, who started the season opener for Roma, has been limited to just the one appearance with his new club after a successful first season in Serie A for Chievo Verona last season. Bradley suited up twice against Juventus for the upstart Flying Donkeys, helping them to two surprise draws in their league meetings with his typical rugged work in the midfield.

The continued absence comes at a tenuous time for Bradley, who will have only one more potential game in which to play -- an Oct. 7 home match against Atalanta -- ahead of the October international fixture dates during which the U.S. will be aiming to lock down a place in CONCACAF's final round of World Cup qualifying.
