An experienced MLS midfielder has been called into the U.S. men's national team training camp by Jurgen Klinsmann in the form of Brad Evans.
The 28-year-old Seattle Sounders utility man has picked up seven caps in his career, was part of the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup squad and joins the U.S. team ahead of a five-game run which includes three FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Evans last played for the USA earlier this year in a friendly against Canada, seeing time both as a defender and in the midfield.
He and fellow Sounder Eddie Johnson may get the opportunity to play in front of their club supporters when the U.S. hosts Panama on June 11.
