Houston Dynamo midfielder Brad Davis has been added to the U.S. roster ahead of World Cup qualifiers against Costa Rica and Mexico, bringing the total squad size to 24 players.

The 31-year-old recently scored his first goal of the 2013 MLS season, netting in La Naranja's 3-2 loss to FC Dallas on Sunday. Last season he picked up 12 assists and scored a career-high eight goals.

Davis, a left winger, made his U.S. national team debut in 2005 and has collected six caps since. He was a part of Jurgen Klinsmann's January training camp and made the roster for the USA's last World Cup qualifier, a 2-1 loss at Honduras.

The U.S. will face Costa Rica at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on Friday, March 22 before facing Mexico at Estadio Azteca four days later.
