LAS VEGAS, May 2 (Reuters) - Floyd Mayweather Jr. preserved his unbeaten record as a professional with a unanimous decision victory over Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines in their welterweight megabout at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday. The 38-year-old American withstood an aggressive start by the Filipino and relied on his renowned defence and counter-punching to dominate the 12 rounds as he improved his career record to 48-0.
