Robbie Rhodes has been dismissed from a second FBS football program.

According to the Toledo Blade, Bowling Green announced Monday that the receiver violated team rules and is no longer on the roster. Rhodes arrived at Bowling Green in the summer of 2014 following his dismissal from Baylor.

Rhodes redshirted the 2014 season due to NCAA transfer rules and saw action in seven games for the Falcons last season. He finished the year with three receptions for 130 yards, including a 44-yard touchdown in a win at Maryland. He also had a 64-yard catch in the Maryland game.

Rhodes, a top 100 recruit in the 2013 class, was dismissed from the Baylor in June 2014. He was arrested a month earlier for marijuana and tampering charges, but the local District Attorney decided not to pursue charges. Despite the DA’s decision, Rhodes was internally disciplined by Baylor. After what Rhodes’ father called “another mistake,” Rhodes was dismissed.

“He was in agreement on sanctions (Baylor) made with him, and he broke the agreement,” Reggie Rhodes told ESPN.com.

As a true freshman, Rhodes caught 10 passes for 157 yards in 2013.
