Bosh and Wade combine for 51, Heat sneak past Nets

Chris Bosh finished with 26 points and recorded five rebounds, while Dwyane Wade added 25 points and seven assists to lead the Miami Heat to a close victory over the Brooklyn Nets, 88-84. This is only the third win for Miami (15-20) in its last 10 games.

Bosh shot 10-16 from the field (3-4 on 3-point attempts) in a solid performance. On 8-22 shooting, including 2-6 from behind the arc, Joe Johnson put up 19 points for Brooklyn in the loss. Deron Williams contributed 13 points and eight assists.

In addition to 29.2% from 3-point range, the Nets tallied an eFG% of just 43.6%. They are winless (0-7) on the season when registering marks below 30% and 45%, respectively, in those statistics. The Heat, conversely, are undefeated (5-0) when holding the opposition to such dismal shooting numbers.

Brooklyn (16-17) has now dropped three straight games to Miami.

Coming up next, the Heat take on the Portland Trail Blazers, who are 26-8 on the year. The Nets match up against the Dallas Mavericks, currently 25-10 this season.
