Center Patrick O'Bryant, who last played in the NBA three years ago, was released Wednesday by the Charlotte Bobcats. O'Bryant, 27, played one exhibition game for Charlotte, collecting two points and five rebounds. The 7-footer was the ninth overall pick in the 2006 draft by the Warriors, and played parts of two seasons with Golden State. He then split the 2008-09 season between the Boston Celtics and the Toronto Raptors, and he appeared in 11 games for the Raptors in 2009-10. In 90 NBA games (three starts), O'Bryant averaged 2.1 points and 1.4 rebounds.
